Troy Spiropoulos is a singer-songwriter from San Pedro, California, who has been arranging and recording music since 1993. In additon to song-writing (acoustically and electrically, Troy has played Bass quitar for thirteen years contributing time and tracks as a session player as well as performing with various "rock" projects in the Los Angeles music scene over the years. Troy is fronts and writes for an Indie/Alternative Rock project entitled Slow Burning Car, which released its debut (Blowback) in 2007 and has followed it up in 2009 with "Vol.2 - The Scattering".

Themes of Troy's songwriting range from the topics mythology/theology to personal experiences and observations. With an approach to his composing quite unique, one can't help but notice the influences of artists such as Nick Drake and Arthur Lee in his work.
